Social and Health Assistance Program for the Elderly
Project SHAPE is the North Hudson Region’s single point of contact agency for all information pertaining to senior citizens. The program assists seniors with insurance matters as well as provides a wide variety of information, resources, and screenings for residents 60 years of age and older:
- Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled Program (PAAD)
- Senior Gold Prescription Discount Program (Senior Gold)
- Hearing Aid Assistance to the Aged & Disabled (HAAAD) Program
- Jersey Assistance for Community Caregiving (JACC)
- LIFELINE Credit/Tenants’ LIFELINE Assistance Program
- New Jersey Statewide Heating Assistance and Referral for Energy Services
- Property Tax Reimbursement Program (Senior Freeze)
- Adult Protective Services Program (APS)
- Elder Advocacy
- Legal Assistance
- Meals on Wheels
- Care management for home bound seniors
- Residential Maintenance
- Assistance preparing applications
