Serves as an Admin Assistant to the VP of Medical Affairs/CMO performing a variety of administrative and clerical functions for the CMO and the departments they oversee. Assists CMO in managing schedules and deadlines, setting up meetings, taking and preparing minutes and agenda’s, composing memos, generating reports, and fielding phone calls. Provides day-to-day administrative support while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

High school diploma or equivalent education required and 3 years of administrative assistant experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Suites. Strong organizational, verbal and written skills, able to problem-solve and multi- task. Experience working for senior level management and ability to identify and set priorities as deemed appropriate. 

Able to travel between, Hudson, Bergen and Passaic counties.

Resource Coordinator – Emergency Assistance

The Resource Coordinator is to provide assistance in stabilizing housing for homeless families. The duties will include finding suitable housing units, establishing a good working relationship with landlords, and offering general support and referrals to help homeless participants secure and maintain permanent housing. The Resource Coordinator will also be responsible for arranging Housing Quality Inspections (HQIs), and reminding participants of appointments, workshops, and any housing opportunities. There is the duty to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and input data into a web-based system. In addition there is also the function as a client liaison for a residential maintenance program.

Education:  Bachelor Degree in Sociology or related discipline;  Also Associate Degree with  case management experience. Valid NJ Driver’s License

Case Manager – Emergency Assistance

The Case Manager’s primary responsibilities include conducting initial assessments and evaluations for general homeless prevention and supportive services which cater to the specific needs of the clients in prevention programs. The Case Manager will be responsible for creating individualized discharge and housing stability plans based on a client’s capacity to obtain or maintain permanent housing. It is also necessary to ensure that households are successfully connected with relevant mainstream benefits and services. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the EMR Data Analyst completes routine reporting in a timely, detail-oriented manner. The EMR Data Analyst conducts routine and ad hoc data extraction, analysis, charting and reporting to inform data-based decision making for both management and clinical staff. This role reports on measures identified in the quality improvement plan and grant-related quality measures. Participates in implementing/upgrading. Provides end user support and collaborates with end users to provide workflow analysis to support departmental and organizational efficiencies, objectives and goals while following applicable policies and procedures.

High School Diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS preferred. Prior experience working with EMR’s; Understanding of medical terminology, prior experience working in health centers, doctor’s office or medical care centers preferred.  Database Design & Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality, Advanced Microsoft Excel Functions, Relational Databases preferred.

Under the supervision of the Breastfeeding Manager, the Peer Counselor provides breastfeeding information and support to mothers, helping them to manage common breastfeeding concerns and overcome common barriers to breastfeeding in accordance with NHCAC and NJ Department of Health (DOH) policies and procedures.

Experience & Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, has exclusively breastfed for 6 months, prior or current experience as a WIC participant preferred. Must complete the New Jersey WIC Services Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Training upon hire. Bilingual in English and Spanish

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Public Health CDRSS Associate is responsible for reporting and tracking incidences of communicable diseases for 6-municipalities: Guttenberg, North Bergen, Secaucus, Union City, Weehawken and West New York. Uploads and updates data in the Communicable Disease Reporting and Surveillance System (CDRSS), facilitates the timely reporting and immediate sharing of pertinent data, thus supporting appropriate public health responses, be they isolated incidences or identified outbreaks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma, GED required. Background working in a medical or healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to read, write and communicate in English. Organized and multitasker.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Must be a Certified Medical or Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Administrative Assistant.
