HUD Certified Housing Counselor

Under the direction of the Vice President of CAP Services, the HUD Certified Housing Counselor provides housing counseling, education, and advocacy to clients throughout Hudson County. The role supports individuals and families in achieving housing stability, financial readiness, and sustainable homeownership.

Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group counseling in homeownership, rental, and homelessness prevention. Educate clients on budgeting, credit, fair housing laws, and tenant/landlord responsibilities. Assist clients in developing individualized action plans and connect them with community resources. Maintain accurate client records and prepare required program reports. Stay current on housing laws, regulations, and best practices.

Education and Experience Required: HUD Certified Housing Counselor Certificate issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (must include issue date and Housing Counselor ID number). Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. Additional certifications in case management, credit counseling, or related areas preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and case management skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Physician – Women’s Health

Job Description: Provide primary and preventative care for patients and ensure Standard of Care for the patient. Conducts well-woman exams, including Pap smears and other screenings. Provide care for common gynecological conditions and sexually transmitted diseases. Offering family planning services and preconception/prenatal care. Performs office-based procedures. Prescribes medications and therapies. Counsels and educates patients. Analyze and interpret data, formulate diagnosis and problem lists, and establish plans to manage common and complex gynecological conditions and health problems. Treat problems within their scope of competence and exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation. Contributes to quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training programs, and research initiatives. Precepts and collaborates with other staff members/disciplines to improve the patient experience. Participates in team meetings and activities of PCMH (Primary Care Medical Home) directly or indirectly. Enters into Joint Collaboration Agreements with one or more NHCAC Advance Practice Nurses.

Job Requirements: Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey; Board Certification in OB/GYN Medicine. Current BCLS, Current DEA Certificate.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population, including exams, cleanings, restorations, extractions, and other general dental procedures. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating oral health conditions, educating patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care, and maintaining thorough and accurate electronic health records. The General Dentist will work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and medical providers in a collaborative team-based environment to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The position requires a DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school, an active and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of NJ, and current DEA and CPR certifications. Experience in community health or a public health setting is preferred.
