We are seeking a full-time Medical Director (Physician) for Adult Medicine. This position is in a Ambulatory setting, offering full spectrum outpatient services. The Director is required to be onsite and provide hands-on patient care.

Board Eligible or Certified. Active New Jersey medical license and good standing with the Medical Board of the State of NJ

Knowledge and experience working in an FQHC or similar environment. Physician management experience is preferred. Experience with using an Electronic Health Record.

Must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 as defined by the CDC: person has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines. A 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna, or a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s. Valid proof required.

We are seeking a full-time Medical Director OB-GYN Physician for our Women’s Health Department. This position is in a Ambulatory setting, offering full spectrum outpatient OB/GYN services including office procedures such as biopsies, IUD insertions, colposcopies, etc; no deliveries, no surgeries. The Director is required to be onsite and provide hands-on patient care.

Board Eligible or Certified. Active New Jersey medical license and good standing with the Medical Board of the State of NJ

Driver/Courier

Under the direction of the Security Manager, the Courier/Driver is responsible for pick-up, delivery and distributing of parcels, packages and documents for all assigned NHCAC locations. The Courier/Driver will also transport employees to and from assigned locations. Willing to work flex Schedule, stay for late nights and cover occasional Saturdays.

Eligibility Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of five years driving experience required. Current, valid NJ State driver’s license. Must have a clean driving record, no history or record of DUI, DWI, suspensions etc. Possess geographical knowledge of service area, and able to follow GPS/Map directions Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Dental Assistant

Under the general direction of the dental provider, supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials. Prepares and arranges needed materials and instruments for scheduled procedures. Hands necessary equipment and materials to the dental provider and assist during treatment.  May be required to work late nights, weekends and holidays. Able to provider coverage at all NHCAC locations: Hudson, Bergen and Passaic counties. 

High School Diploma or GED required, certificate from technical school or two years minimum experience. Dental Assistant Certificate preferred, Current State of New Jersey Radiography License eligible. Infection Control Certificate eligible. Bi Lingual English/Spanish

Director of Clinical Education

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Director of Clinical Education will serve as a clinical resource for clinicians to ensure the proper and effective use of the electronic medical records systems ensuring the improvement of the delivery of quality patient care. Is responsible for the training of new Medical, Nursing and Ancillary staff; will act as the clinical liaison in assisting users with template navigation, tracking, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Responsible for ongoing and annual competency assessments and trainings for clinical staff at their assigned sites. Required to travel to all NHCAC sites and locations.

Education and Experience Required: NJ Licensed Registered Nurse; BSN required, MSN preferred. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with EMR systems, templates and patient workflows.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for the planning, organization, supervision, evaluation and competency of all nursing (RN’s & LPN’s) and clinical support staff (CMA’s & MA’s) services provided at NHCAC. Ensures nursing and clinical support staff are compliant with HRSA, TJC, federal, state and other local regulations. Oversees the orientation and training of nursing and clinical support staff; following all Health Center policies and procedures. Will work collaboratively with physicians, administrators, and staff to provide services to patients and improve processes and departmental performance. Responsible for maintaining current up-to-date clinical staff files for the nursing department; copies of current licensures, certifications, CPR, competencies, trainings and educations. 

Departmental Oversight: Employee Health, High Risk & Referral Services, Infection Control, NJIIS, Non-Public Schools, Public Health.

Education and Experience Required: NJ Licensed Registered Nurse; BSN required, MSN preferred. Minimum 3-5 years’ leadership/management experience.

Head Start Program Assistant

The Program Assistant is responsible for performing all tasks and coordinating all activities necessary for administrative support to the HS/EHS Director, Education Director and other members of the HS/EHS leadership team. Understands the need for confidentiality, the means of insuring it and a willingness to be vigilant in maintaining it. May be required to travel to other HS facilities. Must have own means of transportation.

Education/Experience Required: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and five years of increasingly responsible secretarial or clerical experience.  Ability  to type a minimum of 50 words per minute accurately. Security Guard – NHCAC Health Center(s)

The Security Guard is responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Ensures the protection of persons and property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements.  Provides the daily oversight and monitoring of all North Hudson Community Action Corporation facilities and departments.

Security Supervisor – NHCAC Health Center(s)

Security Supervisor: Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Security Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day security operations for all NHCAC health centers. Ensures appropriate staffing and coverage is assigned at each location. Participates in the formulation and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and protocols. Represents the department at assigned committee meetings. Participates in the annual preparation of the department budget.

High School Diploma required, 2-3 years’ Security Supervisory experience, experience within a within a health care or hospital setting required. S.O.R.A. preferred, valid NJ Driver’s License.

Required to travel to all NHCAC Sites: Bergen, Hudson & Passaic Counties.
